Get well, stay well
Our approach to whole-system support, sustained healing and long-term wellbeing
Many body issues don’t start overnight — so fixing the underlying problem may not happen overnight either. While a single treatment session can be very helpful, a short series often creates deeper, longer lasting results because your system has time to settle, release, integrate and stabilise.
It’s not just physical
Our integrative therapy program supports your whole system — your body, nervous system, and emotional regulation — resulting in more calm and steadiness, better sleep and breathing, and a great sense of “agency” (feeling more in control in your body).
Whole-system support: body + nervous system + emotions
When the body is under stress or overload, it can be harder to sleep, focus, or feel steady. At Freiraum Therapy we help you overcome this through supporting your whole system. As a result, many people notice not only less tension, but also feel more in control of their choices and how they respond to life.
The Freiraum Process
Phase 1 — Safety & settling
We begin by helping the nervous system downshift. Many people feel calmer, grounded, or lighter.
Phase 2 — Deeper release
Once the system knows the process is supportive, the body often releases more smoothly.
Phase 3 — Integration & clarity
We review what shifted, what your body released, and what you want to strengthen next, so your system can retain the new experience.
Release is only half the process. Integration is what helps changes stick — in breathing, posture, movement, and stress response.
The Freiraum Starter Plan
We recommend a starting point of three full (60min) Integrative treatment sessions, one per week.
This allows your system to move through the phases of settling, releasing and integrating with continuity and support.
After the third session we review together and adjust the rhythm to your needs.
Supporting your healing and long-term wellbeing
After your session
After every session it’s important to support your ongoing healing and integration for long-term wellbeing.
It’s normal to experience a range of physical and emotional responses within the first few days of treatment. This can include:
A sense of deep calm
Tiredness
Emotional sensitivity or release
Temporary symptom changes as your system resets.

Support your healing
There are 5 simple steps you can take to support your healing:
1. Hydrate + nourish gently
Water or herbal tea; simple meals help the system settle.
2. Give yourself quiet time
Even 20–30 minutes of living life at a slower pace supports integration.
3. Move gently
A 10–20 minute walk or light mobility is ideal. Avoid heavy training if you feel sensitive.
4. Breathing reset (2 minutes)
Inhale for a count of 4 through the nose, exhale for a count of 6 slowly — 6–8 rounds.
5. Rest & sleep
Your body often integrates best through rest and sleep — an early night can help.
